Brazilian Waxing - For a Clean, Bald, Sensual, New Look
By Kelly Price
What is a Brazilian Wax?
Regular Waxing involves the application of warm wax to the area where you wish the hair to be
removed.
A strip of cloth is then pressed on top, the wax allowed to cool, and then the strip ripped off
against the direction of the hair growth.
A Brazilian wax uses a similar technique but focuses on the genital area and refers to the
removal of hair from the areas around the vagina, perineum and anus.
The entire is area covered with talcum powder before hot oil is applied and the hair
removed.
You can choose whether to leave a ‘landing strip’ a line of hair above the vagina or have all
hair removed.
Some methods use a strip cloth as in regular waxing, others use just the hot wax which as it
cools, the hairs are shrink wrapped and pulled out from the roots.
Any stray hairs not removed will be removed later with a pair of tweezers.
